This farm, including the farmhouse that was built in 1880, used to be a part of a larger farmstead in the village of Branch Mills in the small town of Palermo. Many older people in town remember the land being used for apples, vegetables, and a small number of milk cows. More recently, we have planted about 75 heirloom apple trees, with varieties for cooking, fresh eating, and cider. We have used to land to raise vegetables, berries, and meat for our family and would love to see it be used to feed others, including those in this area. This is a wonderful opportunity for people who want to live in a village and have a small farm!
