Farm ID 3574

  1. Farm ID 3574
Property Description:

In the 50' and 60's it was Two Echo Dairy Farm and supplied milk to the Brunswick schools and ran several milk routes around town. More recently the farm has been the site of Two Echo Cohousing Community. Two acres of the original farm, including a barn, is owned by Craig Freshley and Carol Nelson.

Acreage is around ~1.5

The property is small but we have always wanted for it to be farmed. Here are three ways in which it might work:
1. As is. Three-season water. Outhouse. $40/month
2. Indoor Storage to be built if the farmer needs it. 10x20 on concrete. Unheated but dry. $100/month total.
3. Year-round residence (tiny house in the barn) to be built if the farmer needs it. Also year-round water. $1400/month total.

Housing potential: Maybe. If a farmer or a couple wanted to live on site, we would consider building a small one-bedroom apartment in the barn. In this case, the monthly rent for the land and apartment would be around $1400/month. The apartment would be very small, basically a tiny house in a barn.
