Past and present farming experience:

I have worked on certified organic and chemical-free annual vegetable & flower operations for the past 7 years and have been involved in a full-time capacity since the beginning of my engagement with the industry. I have held managerial positions at nearly every farm I have worked on. These experiences have granted me a broad knowledge base of how to produce food naturally and I would like to apply this knowledge toward an independent endeavor.

Here is a summary of the vision for my farming future and/or business plan:

I plan to utilize a small amount of acreage to produce vegetables & flowers without the use of chemical fertilizers or pesticides. Through the use of permanent raised bed systems, no-till/mulching techniques and interplanting, I hope to be able to efficiently utilize a small amount of space to produce high yields of quality produce while also regenerating soil health. I plan to sell these products at farmer's market, restaurants & local grocers - nearby and perhaps out of county if I need to cast a wider net.
