Past and present farming experience:

I currently market garden an 3/4 of an acre, with two high tunnels one being 72 x 24 "NRCS funded" an 38 x 18 I purchase from Penn State, balance outside tunnels.
I cleared the land removed trees I planted in 1974 and truck in 35 tons topsoil I pulled from a farm that was growing into a housing development.
I have spent ten years plus taking PASA and Penn State workshops including their new farmer 12 week class among many others. I have based the past three years of Clean Slate Farm LLC business on selling to small restaurant owner operator chefs. Since I work full time for the Pa. Bureau of Forestry it's difficult to sell any other way.
With retirement approaching next spring, we are looking at moving back to the Bar Harbor area and a small acreage organic vegetable operation will be apart of that retirement plan.

Yes, I wrote a plan way back in 2014 when this idea of a retirement farm became clearer. I have attached the plan, although it's based in 2013/14 data, the premise of the plan as not changed.
I will say that I find selling to be much more difficult then I thought. On the plus side I have friends who own restaurants in Bar Harbor and they expressed interest in buying from me if I were to come make to Maine.
