Past and present farming experience:

I've been experimenting and gardening and gaining a wide experience base for 19 years. I worked as a MOFGA apprentice in 1999 in Oxbow where we grew harvested and processed herbs and vegetables. I've worked with Belfast Blueberry Cooperative raking, packaging and marketing blueberries. I spent time at farmers markets selling veggies, I've done time in a milk house and have kept goats for milk production. I keep chickens for eggs and ducks for meat. I have my own garden each year and grow gardens for friends and neighbors. I've worked with the gleaners group here in Winthrop and have worked fruit tree pruning jobs. I've had various short farm jobs.
