Farm ID 2433

    Farm ID 2433
Property Description:

The farm is an 1850-ish farm with large barn, small barn with storage, house on the other side of the road; I have lived here for 30 years, raised my daughters here, horses, chickens, cattle briefly. We raised some crops for local co-op and restaurants informally for years, but have now been growing for restaurants in the mid-coast area as a more serious endeavor. Last year I grew produce for a summer camp close by, as my main customer. I would like to partner with people that were interested in growing the business , raising animals perhaps if they wanted, keeping the land farming and productive for the community.

The farmhouse is approx 1850; I heat mostly with wood in the winter, but the house has an oil furnace. The house and barn have been maintained, gradually making improvements over the years...roof, furnace, well, addition that has my bedroom upstairs and the massage studio downstairs with sauna and bathroom. The house has 3 rooms upstairs. We did an addition for my mother in 2002 on the west end of the house for her to have her own apt., kitchen, bath. There are 2 cottages on the property that are an extension of my massage business, and I rent out by the night mostly.

There are two hoop houses (72x30) & (48x17) and an insulated building (20x40), used for micro-greens and seedlings.

Priced at $275,000
