Farm ID 2302

    Farm ID 2302
Property Description:

Old Canal farm has about 70 acres in North bath, behind the Bath country club. We presently have 18 head of Angus cattle and about 15 Bison. We have most of the farm in Pasture with one farm barn, one large hay shed and several shelter sheds. We have John Deere tractors and equipment. The farm is connected to over 250 acres that my wife and I own. All our property is woods and fields and some fields could be for crops or more animal pasture or what ever.

Our interests are to have some young folks who would like to farm in some manner and improve the land. We Do need them to be interested in our beef and care for them as part of any deal we can come up with. We are NOT interested in selling any of the land, but willing to lease short or long term depending on the people involved. We own houses in the area and on site so this could be a great opportunity for the right folks.

We have NOT become wedded to any specific goals, other than caring for the farms animals, as we do not want to restrict any young farmers dreams or ideas.
