This is a fabulous diversified organically managed turn-key farm with very energy efficient 3 bed 2 full bath house built in 1992, horse facilities (built late 1980’s), & detached partially finished 2 bed apartment, with huge open loft area above! The property is on 39.4 acres +/-, and has a 100X60 insulated Morton Indoor Riding Arena with attached large barn with hay loft (for 2000-2500 square bales), tack room, frost free hydrant, electricity, and 8-11 horse stalls (depending on size). It could make a great rental unit, apprentice housing, commercial space, or offices. Upstairs is a huge open loft that has held up to 1200 square bales hay and could be incorporated into additional living space.
The property is in a very quiet and private location, yet only 1/2 mile from Route 7 half way between Dexter & Dover. It’s about a 1 hour drive to Waterville/Augusta, about 45 minutes to Bangor, and 2 hours to Portland. The property is in Dover- Foxcroft, county seat of Piscataquis County, which has a good school system, with Foxcroft Academy for High School; the Mayo Regional Hospital; Center Theatre; a wonderful library, vibrant granges, a new MOFGA chapter, Cooperative Extension, USDA/NRCS offices and much, much, more.
