I'd always worked in Hotels/Inn-keeping/Hospitality, and had previously had my own Property Management and Rental Cleaning Company. As well I was an Antiques Dealer. So, I was ideally suited when last summer I met a guy with an old Maine farmhouse and moved to Maine in hopes of "retiring to Maine". We worked together on renovating his 1880s home (which needs a ton of work done still, which would have been Painting mostly this summer .. I have experience there too), and worked very hard to utilize my gardening experience and put in an Organic Garden, which came out very nicely. We had a goal of opening some rooms up for Air BnB, which we did for June-September. I had done a month of cleaning (including mold and mildew) in May and purchased fine linens and Antiques to furnish the house. I had many household chores such as laundry and cooking. I served a great breakfast every morning to our guests too (I had also been a professional Baker). Well, this guy up and left at the end of the Fall, and I was cut adrift. I got myself tied off again with a job and an apartment in town. But my lease is up soon and I'd really like to be doing somewhat the same thing this coming summer, and would consider negotiations of fair compensation, including housing. Interested in either farmwork with housing or lease on a very small, very inexpensive, property to homestead.

I'd like to work on an Organic farm with. Farmer(s) and learn more, work exchange for housing. Or, I'd consider a short term lease on a very small property to homestead for home vegetable/herbs/flowers garden in order to sell produce and goods at Farmers Markets. I am a single person. I like farmwork.
