Past and present farming experience:

*I co-managed a 15 acre, certified organic, vegetable, cut flower and pastured egg farm in north-east Illinois as a salaried employee for 8 years from 2009 -2017. The farm was called Tempel Farms Organics.

*Prior to 2009 I co-owned and operated a 5 acre, certified organic vegetable and meat chicken farm on rented land in a farm incubator situation in Lake County Illinois from 2006 - 2009 called Red Tail Farm.

*Harvest Coordinator and Irrigation Specialist was my main focus at Sandhill Organics, a 40 acre, certified organic vegetable and cut flower farm in Lake County, Illinois where I was employed for a full season in 2005.

All my adult working experience has been keenly centered around food.
I graduated with a culinary degree and worked in restaurants and catering kitchens for many years before enthusiastically stepping backward in the food chain to begin the farming portion of my journey.

I currently work for a very widely respected and very successful vegetable and cut flower seed company here in Maine.
I am a nurturing grower of livestock and plants of all kinds as well as a totally dedicated father of 2 boys, ages 8 & 12 who attend school in Winslow, ME.
