My wife Darby and I have been farming together for the last 8 years. Darby graduated from Sterling College with a degree in Sustainable Agriculture and we moved to my home state of Georgia to start our own farm. Since that time, we have had our own farming operations and also managed operations for others. We are ready to move back to the Northeast and continue on our growing journey in hopes of finding a forever farm we can settle down on. We are interested in growing organic and biodynamic produce and fruits, raising livestock, and selling through wholesale and retail markets.

Here is a summary of the vision for my farming future and/or business plan:

Our vision for the farm is a diversified organic farm that specialized in 5-10 acres of vegetables with an emphasis on storage crops. We would like to have a herd of beef cattle, some sheep for wool, a small flock of chickens, and a milk cow or two for family use. We are open to forming our business plan around the strengths and weaknesses of the land and are dedicated to preserving the ecological integrity of the landscape. We have in the past had a lot of success adding educational experiences and opportunities to our farm models and would love to continue sharing our practices with the community and local youth.
