Our business plan consists of mutually beneficial symbiosis between pasture-raised livestock and fruit & nut orchard. We intend to manage a 20 acre orchard for the organic production of tree fruit and nuts for human consumption, and to supplement livestock feed. Intentional livestock management will target grazing to keep the orchard mowed and provide the primary source of fertility in the orchard. We plan to market premium-quality pasture-raised meat products and sell grafted fruit trees as a cash crop. Fruit harvested from the orchard will be sold fresh, and processed into value-added products such as pies, preserves, and cider.
