Here is a summary of the vision for my farming future and/or business plan:

Utah family seeking to relocate. We wish to purchase a site for a sustainable family homestead with a woodlot suitable for establishing a mill and kiln to produce lumber for timber framing and handmade woodworking. A shop would be a plus but housing is not necessary as we hope to build a timber frame home. Optimal property would be mostly wooded with usable hardwoods and also have space for a large family garden and room for some poultry, a few goats and some meat animals. Standard sale is an option but we would rather find someone who would be willing to finance with a suitable down payment. Our dream would be finding a homestead couple nearing retirement who would like to stay on and share their knowledge and experience and enable us to buy them out within a few years.
