Past and present farming experience:

My wife and I have little farming experience however our dream is to start an orchard following a permaculture model incorporating other fruiting trees, vegetables, herbs and small livestock such as poultry, rabbits, and goats. While a piece of property with pre-existing field would be preferred we are willing to convert woodland.
Our preferred location would be the towns of Bowdoin or Bowdoinham or other locations within 35 minutes of the Bath and Freeport areas. Our preference is to purchase land and build our own home.
Because we are not looking to adopt the standard orchard model it is preferred to not acquire land with a pre-existing orchard onsite.
